Hike the northern portion of Scotland's most famous long-distance trail - the West Highland Way. Arrive Inverarnan and hike 5 days to Fort William, as the trail winds its way through the seemingly infinite highland glens of Western Scotland taking in iconic sights such as Buachaille Etive Mor (Scotland's most photographed mountain), crossing the vast expanse of the remote Rannoch Moor and ascending the “Devil’s Staircase” for unparalleled Highland views.

Macs was founded in 2003 just a few miles from the start of the trail, and with headquarters in Glasgow every year members of our team hike the WHW, conduct volunteer trail maintenance and visit our valued accommodation and luggage partners. We use our in-depth knowledge, extensive experience and local connections to offer you the best of this iconic route.
