Walk the Coast to Coast National Trail - dip your toe in the Irish Sea at the start and the North Sea at the end. This inspirational world-class walk travels along ancient footpaths through three glorious National Parks - The Lake District, The Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors. With almost 200 miles of waymarked footpath, you’ll walk through picturesque villages, rolling hills, immaculate farmland, striking mountains and vast moorlands. Your evenings are spent in cosy B&Bs oozing with charm, and maybe a pint in the cheery local pub catching up with tails from your fellow ‘coast to coast’ walkers. This fabulous long-distance path was created by Alfred Wainwright in the 1970s, and has been relished by thousands of walkers since.
