Bordeaux in the south-west of France is internationally known for its wine, and quite rightly so. However, our cycling tours in the region show that there is much more to Bordeaux than the magic it can produce with its grapes. As well as exploring the Vineyards of Bordeaux, enjoy cycle paths alongside the Garonne River and explore medieval walled towns with their castles and citadels.
Not far from here is France’s fourth biggest city, Toulouse. Filled with al-fresco cafés and a jumble of shopfronts on colourful little streets, its beautiful historic centre boasts numerous UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Its vibrant food scene is bursting with restaurants, exceptional regional specialities and lively food markets. It's also the gateway to one of Europe's best cycling adventures, the Canal du Midi, taking you through fertile lands, bustling towns and charming villages.
